Reconditioning

All electric motors are disassembled and inspected in an extensive check-up of all parts, such as windings, shafts, bearings etc. The machines are thoroughly washed with environmentally friendly alkaline detergent and parts made of metal and steel are completely cleansed from paints so that damage can be more easily detected. Parts with windings are dried in ovens for twentyfour hours before we perform insulation test. The dried windings are painted and impregnated meanwhile other parts are painted with Zinc primer and a topcoat. If needed, the rotors can be balanced on our balancing. Motors are there after reassembled and new bearings fitted, replaceable parts are installed where needed

Testing and Quality control

During work in progress, continuous testing is made. After final assembly quality control is made with a routine test. If needed, an extra (similar to typing test) can be made. Finally the motor is painted and packaged.

Drawing and design

Myrén & Co can accomplish everything from sketches to a complete installation designs for testing of i.e. electric motors and transformers for electrical workshops, transformer factories etc. Due to our high technical competence Myrén & Co can find different solutions to your problems without affecting quality or reliability.

Technical support

We visit you to look at the epuipment and listen to your needs. Together we decide a solution for your problems. In addition to our own well trained personal, we also have access to specialists at our suppliers.

Service and maintenance

Either you come to us or we come to you, we review and recondition all types of rotating drives with accompanying electrical supply and control software/hardware, mechanical couplings and belt drives.

Balancing

Mobile balancing of rotating parts on location or in our balancing machine which is capable of dealing with sizes from 10 to 6000 kg, with a maximum length of 8 meters.

Test drive

In our state of the art test room we can perform tests for all kinds of electrical motors with full voltage upp to 11 kV, 3 MVA and 50/60 Hz. We can load test up to 200 kW, in some cases even up to 1 MW, as well as test your variable speed drive against a suitable motor. We also perform advanced fault diagnosis and, without disturbing your production, measure the electrical motors characteristics under safe conditions.
